One fun method to practice spelling words. We used newspapers, glue, scissors, and construction paper. Student's work on one word at a time, they hunt for the letters (in order), and glue them on the construction paper. Our Lucy wall for Essay (Nonfiction) Writing! I love the "Push Our Thinking" poster. That one should stay up all year. I didn't use the frogs for this unit, but I should have.
