Everyday Math program is a spiral program, which means it keeps coming back to different concepts often. This is my first year trying math centers and so far, I love it!
My third grader get my direct teaching and guidance for 20 minutes to 40 minutes. They have small group, partner, or independent work after my direct teaching. My fourth graders are playing a math game or working independently on their math boxes. Then the roles switch!

Above is an example of a math box page. Numbers one through four are usually concepts from previous lessons. Numbers five and six are concepts that will be learn in the near future. This is where the spiral happens. :)
Notice the blue book icons in the bottom right hand corner. This is a resource for the students to help themselves. They are called Student Reference Books. The page number indicated on the icon will bring them to a page that will help their learning and give them examples. All my students are required to use these before getting further help.

At the end of the day, student work on their home/study link. In third grade math is called a home link and in fourth it's called a study link. This is suppose to be homework, but with our school having an extended day, they complete it here. This assignment is extra practice for the lesson that was taught that day.
